MD Staffing Services invites California‑Licensed Primary Care Physicians to apply for primary care positions across telemedicine and onsite locum opportunities statewide.
Position Overview
Role: Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)
Work Type: Locum, 1099 Contractor
Location: California (Telemedicine and Onsite Locum Options)
Schedule: Flexible
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates
Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor (role‑dependent)
Responsibilities
Provide virtual and/or onsite primary care services
Conduct patient evaluations via scheduled visits
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
Participate in credentialing and compliance requirements
Provide full remote practice support
Support NALTO, NCQHA Credentialing Standards
Engage in variety of short‑ and long‑term assignments

Requirements
Board Certified Family or Internal Medicine Preferred
Active California medical license (required)
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family or Internal Medicine preferred
DEA registration
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Comfortable using telehealth platforms
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Telemedicine experience preferred
