Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Radiation Oncology in Muskegon, MI
Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Muskegon, Michigan, where we are looking for full-time Radiation Oncologists to provide exceptional care. Starting February 2026, this position is crucial due to physician turnover and involves shared patient responsibilities with another physician, creating a collaborative environment for providing advanced oncology care. The facility operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a 24-hour on-call schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with patients and perform minor procedures.
Deliver high-quality radiation therapy, including conventional, 3D, and stereotactic treatments.
Order tests and images as necessary.
Prescribe treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure smooth daily clinical operations.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
MI State License or IMLC/LOQ.
BLS Certified.
Clean malpractice and background check, with an updated Self-Query NPDB required at the time of presentation.
Availability to provide full-time, ongoing coverage.
License and Certification Requirements:
Valid Michigan State License (or IMLC/LOQ).
Board Certification in Radiation Oncology.
BLS Certification.
