\ NGeneral Job Responsibilities:
\ N Perform a range of surgeries including appendectomies, hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, emergency surgeries, and upper and lower endoscopies, among others.
\ N Provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care.
\ N Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
\ N Be on-call for emergency surgeries, such as trauma cases or unexpected complications.
\ N Provide consultations to patients and other medical professionals regarding surgical options and care plans.
\ N Provide patient education about post-operative care and follow-up requirements.
\ N Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

\ N Expertise in performing a wide variety of general surgeries with minimal supervision.
\ N Ability to assess complex medical situations and make sound decisions quickly.
\ N Excellent manual dexterity and precision.

\ N Minimum Education Requirements:
\ N Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
\ N Residency training program in surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
\ N License & Certifications:
\ N Board certification in surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS).
\ N Active and unrestrictedmedical license in Florida.
\ N Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
\ N Experience:
