\ NGeneral Job Responsibilities:
\ N Provide expert care for patients with injuries and disorders affecting bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves.
\ N Conduct a wide range oforthopedic surgeries, including fracture repair, joint replacement, arthroscopy and soft tissue repair.
\ N Provide emergency care for traumatic injuries requiring immediate surgical intervention.
\ N Manage conditions through non-invasive techniques, such as medication or physical therapy, when appropriate.
\ N Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies.
\ N Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
\ N Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
\ N Skills:
\ N Proficient in performing a variety of both minimally invasive and complex orthopedic procedures.
\ N Ability to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal issues accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans.
\ N Capability to make quick, informed decisions during surgery and in emergency situations.
\ N Strong communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients.
\ N Excellent manual dexterity and precision.
\ N Flexibility to adapt tonew work environments and different medical teams.
\ N Minimum Education Requirements:
\ N Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
\ N Residency training program in orthopedic surgery accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
\ N License & Certifications:
\ N Board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS).
\ N Active and unrestrictedmedical license in Missouri.
\ N Experience:
