About the Facility This well-established acute-care hospital maintains a collaborative care team environment with an organized operating room program and established perioperative workflows. The facility supports a broad surgical case mix across multiple specialties, operating under a physician supervision model with 50% hands-on MD involvement. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought on an ASAP basis on an ongoing schedule to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.
About the Facility Location The area surrounding this assignment offers a range of cultural, recreational, and wildlife attractions suited to diverse interests. Clinicians on assignment may visit a 247-acre zoo, 20 acres of themed botanical gardens, and an interactive wildlife park featuring lemurs and otters. The region also features an aviation history museum with approximately 40 historically significant aircraft, a 1941 control tower, and an archive of over 200,000 records, as well as opportunities for hunting, fishing, hiking, agritourism, and guided nature tours across the scenic landscapes of South Central Kansas.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM on 8-hour shifts. The surgical case mix includes bread-and-butter, general, urology, and pediatric ENT cases, serving patients across all age groups. No call coverage is required as part of this assignment.
