Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm — 9-hour shifts
36 hours of patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage per week
15 – 18 patients per shift
Outpatient focus — 70% oncology, 30% hematology (primarily benign)
Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
Call rotation every 4th or 5th week — one full week at a time
