Opportunity
We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) for temporary locum tenens coverage at an established and well-regarded pediatric primary care practice near Roswell, Georgia. This is an immediate need for additional temporary coverage.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Lunch: 12:30 PM–1:30 PM
Approximately 20–25 patients per day
Patient mix includes well-child visits and sick/acute care
Dedicated Medical Assistant provided
Paper charting — no EMR
Coverage Dates
Current anticipated coverage dates:
September 24, 25, 28, 29, and 30, 2026
October 6 and 7, 2026
Scheduling may be adjusted based on the practice's needs.
Practice & Clinical Responsibilities
This is a well-established, vaccine-friendly pediatric primary care practice providing comprehensive care for both acute and chronic conditions, as well as routine well-child visits.
The practice accommodates families who follow alternate or delayed vaccine schedules .
The PNP will work under a protocol agreement covering:
Well-child care
Immunizations
Assessment and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
Diagnostic studies as clinically indicated
Treatments as clinically indicated
Requirements
Active Georgia PNP license in good standing
Current certifications appropriate for pediatric primary care practice
Pediatric primary care experience
Comfortable providing well-child care and immunizations
Local Candidate Requirement
Candidates must be local to the Roswell, Georgia area .
No mileage reimbursement
No lodging accommodations provided
This is a temporary locum tenens assignment for additional coverage.
The clinic is looking for someone who is “vaccine-friendly” and comfortable working in a pediatric setting. They are open to considering a regular FNP as long as you feel fully confident and comfortable treating pediatric patients.
