n Clinical Responsibilities
n Provide Inpatient Neurointerventional Surgery Coverage
Respond to Code Strokes
Provide Post-Procedure Inpatient Care for Neurointerventional Surgery Patients
Evaluate and Manage Adult and Geriatric Neurointerventional Patients
n Clinical Environment / Support
n Hospital-Based Practice
Epic EMR
No Teaching or Leadership Responsibilities
n Requirements
n AANP Board Certification - Required
At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Neurointerventional Surgery - Required
Virginia Nurse Practitioner License - Preferred
Active ACLS - Required
Active BLS - Required
Neurocritical Care Nursing Experience - Required
Clean Professional Background - Required
No Malpractice or Licensure Issues - No Exceptions
n Submission Requirements
n Must Disclose Whether Provider Has Previously Worked Within the Health System
If Previously Worked Within the Health System, Include Facility, Last Date Worked, and Agency
n Credentialing
n Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 Days
