WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care for a locum tenens job in Torrington, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Urgent Care Discipline: Nurse Practitioner Start Date: ASAP Duration: 26 weeks Shift: rotating Employment Type: Locum Tenens " Urgent Care NP/PA Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide urgent care coverage across multiple locations in Connecticut. Weekend availability is highly preferred, though providers with Monday and Friday availability will also be considered.
Compensation:
$110/hr Assignment Details Location: Torrington, Connecticut Assignment Dates: October 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027 Duration: 21 weeks Coverage: Ongoing Call: None Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Schedule Sunday–Saturday work week Weekend coverage strongly preferred Monday and Friday availability also considered Weekly schedule No call responsibilities Practice Setting Urgent Care Coverage Area Providers should be willing to work at locations within the following Connecticut counties: New Haven Middlesex New London Windham Tolland Hartford Litchfield Provider Expectations Willing to travel at least 45 minutes between sites Flexible to split the workday between two locations when needed Comfortable with reasonable last-minute schedule adjustments due to call-outs Local candidates are preferred Exact clinic assignments may vary based on operational needs Requirements Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Telehealth experience required Prior travel assignment experience preferred Additional Information No call responsibilities Weekly scheduling Scheduling will be coordinated to keep assigned locations as geographically close as possible.
