Days and nights available -- majority of need is for nights
Night shift 7 pm - 7 am
100 - 115 patients per day over 24-hour period
Hospital setting
Physician and 2 APPs on night shift -- physician backup provided
No procedures required -- rounding and admitting 3 - 5 per shift
Ongoing coverage need
ACLS and BLS certification required
