Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care in Danville, VA
Join a dynamic team in an Urgent Care clinic located in Danville, Virginia, offering both Urgent Care and Occupational Health services. This opportunity is perfect for a skilled Nurse Practitioner looking to work autonomously in a supportive environment with a supervising physician available via phone. Key Responsibilities:
Provide episodic care and injury treatment to patients across various age demographics.
Work autonomously while adhering to clinic protocols and procedures.
Document patient interactions and treatment plans using the Anthem EMR system.
Participate in covering emergent needs at all urgent care locations as necessary.
Coordinate with supervising physician for complex cases and consultations.
Qualifications:
Board Certified (ANCC, AANP) - Required
Active Virginia License - Required
Current BLS certification - Required
Local provider status - Required
Flexibility to accommodate a $150 per hour rate cap - Required
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
Active Nursing License in Virginia
Board Certification in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
