Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Facility & Practice Overview
Join our dynamic team at a well-regarded urgent care clinic located in Martinsville, Virginia, specializing in both urgent care and occupational health services. This facility offers a supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, with a supervising physician available via phone for guidance as needed. The clinic prioritizes patient care for a diverse demographic including adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics.
Job Responsibilities
Provide episodic care and treatment for injuries.
Work autonomously in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Document patient interactions utilizing the Anthem EMR system.
Assess and manage various patient conditions across all age groups.
Collaborate with a supervising physician who is accessible by phone.
Qualifications
Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC, AANP) - Required
Active Virginia state license - Required
Current BLS certification - Required
Must be a local provider - Required
Willingness to work at a $150 per hour rate cap - Required
