\ NGeneral Job Responsibilities:
\ N Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues.
\ N Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies.
\ N Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
\ N Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients.
\ N Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post-care management strategies.
\ N Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
\ N Skills:
\ N Strong expertise in performing a range of both surgical and non-surgical urological procedures.

\ N Minimum Education Requirements:
\ N Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
\ N Residency training program in urology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
\ N Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required.
\ N Certifications:
\ N Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).
\ N Active and unrestrictedmedical license in Arizona.
