Job description
We are seeking a Locums EmergencyMedicine Physician to provide coverage in Berlin, New Hampshire. The immediateneed is for a 24-hour shift beginning at 8:00 AM on December 29, 2026, withopportunities for additional occasional shifts on an ongoing basis.
The ideal physician will be semi-localand within driving distance, and willing to join the provider roster for future24-hour shifts as coverage needs arise across affiliated hospitals.

Approximately 8,500ED visits per year
Approximately 25+/-patients per day
Rural CriticalAccess Hospital setting
Solo physiciancoverage
24/7 supportfrom Anesthesia, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and HospitalMedicine
EMR: Meditech
Tertiaryreferral hospitals available for support as needed
Semi-localcandidates preferred; driving distance strongly preferred
Requirements
Board Certifiedin Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
Completion ofan ACGME-, AOA-, or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons ofCanada-accredited residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice,General Surgery, or Internal Medicine
New Hampshiremedical license required
Permanent NHlicense preferred
Temporarylicenses are not accepted
Minimum of 100patient encounters within the past 12 months
ACLS, PALS,ATLS, and NRP certification through the American Heart Associationrequired
