Job description
We are seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Physician to provide coverage in a critical access hospital setting.
Key responsibilities
include responding to codes on the med/surg floor and managing patient care without the need for rounding, as hospitalist coverage is provided.
Qualifications and skills
include experience in emergency medicine, the ability to handle high-volume ED environments, and strong clinical skills.
Role details
involve working 15-18 shifts per month of 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm, with an ED volume of approximately 4,000 annually.
Key duties
include providing emergency care, responding to urgent situations, and collaborating with hospital staff.
