Job description
Ahealthcare facility in Petoskey, Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified FamilyMedicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity. This is an excellent assignment for aphysician who enjoys caring for patients of all ages in a well-supported clinicenvironment with no call responsibilities.
PositionHighlights
Schedule: Monday–Friday,8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends
No night call
Patient Volume: Approximately20 patients per day
Electronic Health Record: Cerner
ClinicalResponsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatientprimary care for adult and pediatric patients
Diagnose and treat acute andchronic medical conditions
Perform routine wellness visitsand preventive care
Conduct gynecologic exams,including pelvic exams and Pap smears
Interpret EKGs
Coordinate patient care,referrals, and follow-up as needed
Accurately document patientencounters in Cerner EHR
RequiredQualifications
Board Certified in FamilyMedicine
Active Michigan medical license
Previous Family Medicineexperience required
Must be local to Michigan
Strong outpatient clinical anddiagnostic skills
Comfortable treating patientsacross the lifespan
