Job description
We are seeking a Locums Hematology/OncologyPhysician to provide inpatient oncology hospitalist coverage in Worcester,Massachusetts. This is a long-term opportunity with an anticipated 1-yearassignment and the possibility of extension.
The physician will provide inpatienthematology/oncology care in a collaborative environment, with a mix ofindependent patient management and working alongside other providers.
Compensation : $450 Per Hour
PositionHighlights
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment: 1 year with possibility toextend
Setting: Inpatient Oncology
Schedule: 40 hours per week
4 × 10-hour shifts
Ideally Tuesday–Friday
Approximately 12–15 patient encountersper day
Combination of independent inpatient caremanagement and collaborative care
EMR: Epic
Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
Local candidates preferred; travelcandidates considered with consistent availability
Market-rate compensation
Requirements
MD or DO
Hematology/Oncology fellowship required
Board Certified or Board Eligible inHematology/Oncology
Active Massachusetts medical licenserequired
DEA and CSR required
Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
