Locums - Langhorne, Pennsylvania, NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery Opening Locum Tenens Pennsylvania
Locums – Langhorne, Pennsylvania, NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery Opening
Clinical Role
ASAP start with ongoing need until a permanent provider is hired
1 NP/PA needed
100% inpatient, hospital-based Cardiothoracic Surgery
Adult patient population
Level II Trauma Center
Support the Cardiothoracic Surgery team in the operating room and with inpatient care
Schedule & Call
Primary need for nights and weekends with possible weekday coverage
Weekend coverage includes Saturday and Sunday rounding followed by call coverage
Additional call coverage as needed
Callback hours currently unknown
Practice Model & Clinical Expectations
Preoperative physical examinations
Inpatient rounding and coordination of care
Diagnose and treat illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic testing
Surgical first assist
Prescribe medications
Suture removal
Chest tube insertion
Endoscopic retrieval procedures
Epic EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
Board Certified
Active Pennsylvania license required
Client will not consider candidates who need to obtain Pennsylvania licensure
ACLS and BLS required
Minimum 3 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
Local candidates required
No new graduates
