Job description
We are seeking an experienced Locums Nocturnist Physician to provide inpatient hospitalist coverage in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and comfortable managing a full range of adult inpatient cases overnight. This position offers a flexible locum assignment in one of New England’s leading healthcare communities.
Compensation
$190 Per Hour
Responsibilities
Manage admissions from the emergency department and direct admissions from outside facilities or clinics.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult inpatients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Provide overnight coverage formedical floors and respond promptly to pages and patient care issues.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary departments.
Conduct thorough documentation and ensure accurate, timely completion of progress notes and discharge summaries.
Requirements
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Massachusetts medical license
Active DEA license
