Job description
We are seeking a Locums OB/GYN Physician to provideclinic and procedural coverage in Alpena, Michigan. This opportunity offers aconsistent weekday clinic schedule, a manageable patient volume, and supportfrom an experienced clinical team.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
Clinic Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour, depending onappointment length
Clinical Support
Three nurses scheduled per shift
A midwife will be available beginning in September to assist withcall coverage
Procedures & Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive OB/GYN careand perform procedures including:
Suction D&C
Laparoscopy
Reading and interpreting NSTs
Cesarean sections
Circumcisions
Tubal ligations
Additional Details
EMR/Dictation: Epic and Dragon
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible, with certification requiredwithin 5 years
Current AC LS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Recent case logs demonstrating:
At least 50 deliveries within the past 12 months
At least 25 GYN procedures within the past 12 months
Michigan license preferred
Candidates participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact(IMLC) will be considered
