6 ‐ 8 patients per shift; 8 ‐ 10 patients seen per 24‐hour call
3 ‐ 5 admissions and 3 ‐ 5 phone consults per 24‐hour period
Hospital setting with adult, pediatric, and neonate cases
Trauma and general surgery call coverage required
Laparoscopic surgery skills required ‐‐ appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and more
OB/GYN surgical skills required ‐‐ C‐section, D&C, hysterectomy
30‐minute call response time required; 80% call‐back rate

Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all‐inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Please contact your consultant for details.
