Quick Facts
7 on / 7 off shifts - Monday through Sunday rotation
Call: 5 pm - 7 am with weekends on rotation - 1:2 call ratio
Call response time: 30 minutes required
12 patients per shift
Inpatient and outpatient setting - both required
Procedures: splint/cast application, fracture reductions, injections
Trauma-related orthopedic cases - no elective procedures
Inpatient/ED rounding along with outpatient clinic schedule
