Locums - Potsdam, New York Anesthesiology Job
Start Date:
ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Weekday call: 3:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
Weekend call: Friday at 7:00 a.m.-Monday at 7:00 a.m.
Weekday and weekend call required
Upcoming Coverage Dates: 10/19/ /23/2026: No weekday call (MD)
11/05/ /13/2026: Weekend call 11/6-11/8 and weekday call 11/10 and 11/12 (MD)
12/21/ /30/2026: Holiday call 12/24-12/27 (MD); very urgent coverage needed due to no full-time provider available to take call
Clinical Responsibilities: Inpatient anesthesia
OB anesthesia
Epidurals
General anesthesia
Schedule surgeries
May involve CRNA supervision
Other duties as assigned
Must be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting
Patient Volume: Approximately 10-15 patients
EMR: Epic experience required
Requirements: Board Certified
Active New York license
BLS required
ACLS required
PALS required
AHA or RQI certification
