Job description
We areseeking a Locums Psychiatrist (Physician) to provide inpatient coverage for adual diagnosis unit in Manchester, CT. This role focuses on managing patientswith both mental health and substance use disorders in a structured, team-basedenvironment.
Compensation
$220 Per Hour
Schedule
Schedule: Monday-Friday,8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Call: None
Practice Setting
Inpatient dual diagnosis unit
22-bed unit
Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day
Average length of stay: 7-10 days
Multidisciplinary support teamincluding nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and psychiatrictechnicians
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients withco-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders
Conduct psychiatric assessments,medication management, and treatment planning
Participate in daily rounds andinterdisciplinary team meetings
Coordinate care and dischargeplanning
Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible inPsychiatry
Active Connecticut medical license(or ability to obtain)
Experience in inpatient psychiatryand/or addiction medicine preferred
