Locums – St. Charles, Missouri, NP Psychiatry Job
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 1/17/2027
Position:
Local Candidates Only
1 NP locum for inpatient coverage
Round on inpatients
Setting: Hospital
Inpatient focus with a small outpatient department with no set times
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., as needed
Weekend coverage may be part of the schedule
Patient Volume & Population:
Approximately 20 patients per day
New and existing patients
Ages 17–68
Clinical Responsibilities:
Inpatient psychiatric care
Rounding on inpatients
Onsite administration of medications for inpatient patients
Support Staff:
1.5 Psychiatrists
2 full-time Nurse Practitioners
4 part-time Nurse Practitioners
Approximately 5–6 providers onsite each day
Approximately 2 other providers onsite Saturday & Sunday
EMR: WellSky
Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner
BLS certification required
CPR certification required
