Summary
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist (Technical Data Management) in the MRO Logistics Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Responsibilities
You will provide oversight of technical data distribution and all related functions, systems and resource requirements.
You will find and implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant technical data distribution bottlenecks and barriers to production, promote team building, or improve logistics support practices.
You will contact the Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC) to arrange for NAVY procurement, when applicable, and arranges for distribution to FRCE or field team site.
You will conduct yearly audit on FRCEASTINST 5605.5 to ensure continued applicability to FRCE processes.
Qualifications
For the GS-11 Position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating technical experience and knowledge of various manuals, instructions and certifications to manage the technical publication distribution requirements of an industrial aircraft maintenance facility; Understanding of aircraft terminology, aircraft component parts, technical references and specifications is required to convey technical information effectively; Demonstrating experience with ability to determine availability and applicability of complex technical data as well as understand complex technical data specifications and standards to assure quality customer service operations. For the GS-09 Position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Understanding of Naval Data distribution and databases across services, interpreting and analyzing data; Understanding of technical data products; Demonstrating the ability to plan, distribute, coordinate and monitor workload assignments; Demonstrating working knowledge of technical data is properly implemented. Education

OR Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
