Job description

We’re transforming the future of urban mobility through safe, all‑electric, autonomous flight. We are a passionate team working together toward a sustainable future, solving high impact problems that have never been solved before. By delivering everyday flight for everyone, we’re making it possible to spend less time getting there and more time being there. If you want to be part of shaping the future of mobility, then read on!

We are looking for an experienced, highly hands‑on, and project‑focused Logistics Specialist, ideally from aerospace, to join our team developing electric‑powered aircraft. This position will be a versatile executor responsible for the daily management and compliance of our multi‑modal, global logistics network, with a critical focus on managing oversized shipments and supporting high‑profile company events.

Why We Need You

With the vision of building the first fully autonomous all‑electric aircraft, we require a Logistics Specialist to be a core contributor and operational "Swiss Army Knife" on our Material Operations team.

The goal of this P2 role is to execute, maintain, and contribute to the efficiency of an organized, compliant, and responsive Logistics operation. You will be instrumental in the tactical execution of global parts movements, the end‑to‑end planning and execution of large/heavy shipments and providing essential physical and logistical support for company marketing activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid working knowledge of worldwide shipments, a project‑management mindset for complex moves, and the ability to safely handle and coordinate heavy equipment. This role requires analytical ability, effective tactical problem‑solving, and the ability to build strong working relationships across internal teams and external providers.

What You Will Do

As a core member of the Material Operations organization, you will focus on the reliable execution and complex planning of logistics for a novel aircraft development.

Logistics Operations, Projects, & Physical Execution:

Execute Daily Logistics : Manage and execute all daily aircraft parts logistics to and from worldwide suppliers, ensuring on‑time delivery and data accuracy.

Project Logistics & Heavy Shipments : Coordinate the planning and execution of large‑scale, oversized, or heavy‑duty component shipments. This can include conducting pre‑shipment site surveys (domestic and international) and coordinating all rigging, crating, and heavy‑haul carriers and/or coordination with partners.

Dangerous Goods Handling : Potentially support Lithium‑Ion battery shipment within the established process controls and documentation for Hazmat/Dangerous Goods shipments, with a critical focus on the safe and compliant transportation (training provided if necessary).

Carrier Coordination : Coordinate with logistics suppliers on shipment bookings and tactically resolve transportation issues and service failures.

Hands‑on Support : Be highly comfortable with physical logistics work, assisting in the safe handling, loading, and unloading of heavy and complex parts within the warehouse and at external event sites.

Event Support & Compliance:

Marketing & Demo Support : Serve as the primary logistics support for domestic and international trade shows, demos, and other high‑profile events. This includes managing shipments to/from the event and assisting in the assembly and breakdown of display equipment and demo aircraft components.

International Shipment Execution : Manage the preparation of documentation for international shipments (import/export) with the support of our Import/Export Specialist, ensuring adherence to customs and regulatory requirements.

Financial & Documentation Management : Manage the daily logistics workflow, including processing quotation requests, managing logistics invoice approvals, and ensuring proper documentation for transport insurance policies.

What You Have Done

Minimum two (2) to four (4) years of working experience in multi‑modal logistics operations, preferably within the aerospace, automotive, or high‑tech manufacturing industries.

Project‑Based Logistics : Proven experience managing complex, oversized, or heavy‑duty cargo shipments, including planning, vendor selection, and execution.

International Experience : Working knowledge of documentation and coordination required for international shipments (import/export) and customs clearance.

Physical Comfort/Safety : Demonstrated comfort and ability to work safely in a hands‑on environment, handling equipment and loads, and providing physical labor support as needed.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate detailed logistics requirements, both written and verbal, with internal teams and external suppliers.

Who You Are

You are a highly motivated, self‑starting individual who acts as a solution‑oriented problem solver and is comfortable executing against complex technical and regulatory requirements.

You possess a versatile, "can‑do" mindset and thrive in a role that requires both desk‑based planning and physical execution.

You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to clearly convey information to different audiences.

You embrace challenges, make clear commitments, and deliver consistent results.

You are a positive and collaborative team player, dedicated to supporting the success of the Supply Chain and the wider organization’s visibility goals.
