Job description
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a compassionate Substitute Teacher for a long-term assignment supporting children and young adults with behavioral and learning challenges. Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with students’ educational goals; adapt lessons to diverse learning needs; and maintain a safe, structured, inclusive classroom. Support positive behavior and document student progress, sharing relevant updates with school teams and families. Collaborate with educators and behavioral health professionals to apply evidence-based practices and promote academic, social, and life skills. This on-site role offers meaningful experience in specialized education and interdisciplinary teamwork. State or district teaching credentials may be required.
