POSTING
TO : All Kettering City School District locations and outside locations as designated by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Capital.
POSITION : LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
(Mild to Moderate)
Effective School Year
LOCATION : KETTERING FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION : Seeking applicants with Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist (Mild to Moderate ) teaching license.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List :
Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.
Knowledgeable about co-teaching, universal education and co-treating strategies.
Participates in school-wide professional development programs and activities.
Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.
Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.
Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on-going data/progress monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List : Valid Ohio teaching license.
Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Educational technology skills.
SALARY : According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
