Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified School Counselor candidates who are interested in working as a long-term (21-89 DAYS) Substitute School Counselor in the school year . Substitute counselors work at all levels K - 12.
Qualifications:
Certification/License: Washington State ESA Certification as a School Counselor -- REQUIRED
Substitute counselors work on an as needed basis during the school year to fill long term absences only . Work hours will vary based on the assignment.
Applications will be reviewed as openings occur . Mandatory online orientation and training will occur after a candidate is selected and onboarded for a position.

Salary:
Long-term substitute scholl counselor assignments in excess of twenty (20) days will be paid at the contract teacher rate based on your degree, esxperience and credits. See Salary Schedules - Lake Washington School District posted on website. This position does not meet requirements for state health benefits.
Paychecks are issued once a month on the last business day of the month.
