Medical AssistantLocation: Robbinsdale, MN Shift: 8 hours days Duration: 13 weeks Pay rate: #####/hour to #####/hourJob DescriptionPerform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout clinicStandard rooming processesGiving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given)Provide telephone supportFacilitate communication between patients and providersAssist with medication refillsPerform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)Stocking supplies/roomsPerform EKGsSubmission RequirementsA minimum of 1-year experience in a patient-care setting - RequiredMedical Assistant Diploma - RequiredMA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHESBLS (AHA or ARC) - RequiredMust be willing to Float to Maple Grove on an as needed basis.
