nSummary:
nConsolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. (CED), a large, nationwide wholesale electrical distribution company, is seeking a Loss Control Clerk to join the Loss Control Department.
nThis employee will report to CED's Loss Control Manager and is primarily responsible for handling responsibilities related to CED's insurance and loss control functions.
nLoss Control Department Summary: The Loss Control Department oversees CED's 700+ locations throughout the United States and supports affiliated companies as needed on issues and activities related to property & casualty insurance, related claims, and safety.
nReports to: Risk Manager
nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnProficient in the use of Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
n
nnExcellent written and oral communication skills.
n
nnSuccessful candidates must have good references, pass pre-employment drug test, successfully complete a background check, as well as be willing to participate in pre-employment assessments.

nEssential Job Functions:
nResponsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
nnnAssist with CED's workers' compensation, auto, general liability, property, and freight claims
n
nnAssist with maintaining CED's customer certificates of insurance and vendor certificates of insurance program
n
nnServe as the primary central point of contact between CED locations and brokers in bond-related matters
n
nnOther projects and tasks as assigned
n
