Loss Prevention InvestigatorArlington, TexasJob Category: Security & Loss PreventionThe Loss Prevention Investigator is responsible for protecting company assets and minimizing loss across the park. This role involves identifying, investigating, and resolving suspicious activity, as well as apprehending individuals involved in theft or policy violations. The ideal candidate maintains a high level of discretion while supporting a safe and secure environment for guests and associates.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and investigate suspicious activity throughout the parkConduct audits of locations and employees to identify procedural gaps and improve complianceRecommend solutions to reduce financial loss and strengthen controlsMonitor CCTV systems and register activity to ensure adherence to company policiesPerform covert surveillance in areas vulnerable to theft or lossMaintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all investigationsDocument and log detailed reports of incidents and investigative findingsCollect, review, and analyze accounting and operational data to identify loss trendsConduct employee interviews related to policy violations or discrepanciesSupport asset protection and inventory control initiativesPerform sting operations and electronic surveillance to prevent theftInvestigate cases involving monitoring cash acceptance, credit card fraud, other cash accepting apps, and methodsComplete required reports, documentation, and administrative duties accuratelyPerform additional duties as assigned by the Loss Prevention Manager or Corporate LQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsFull availability, including days, nights, weekends, and most holidaysAbility to work opening and/or closing shifts (up to 8-hour shifts preferred)Flexibility to work limited hours during spring, fall, winter seasonsAbility to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)Capable lifting to 25 lbs.Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsAbility to pass a comprehensive background check (including criminal and credit history)High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferredPrevious Loss Prevention or security experience preferredCommitment to providing excellent support to guests and fellow team members
