Job description
Lounge ConciergeThe Concierge enhances the guest experience by providing personalized services, arranging reservations, and delivering information to ensure a memorable stay. This role directly impacts guest satisfaction, loyalty, and the overall reputation of the property.HOW YOU'LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTUREProvide information on hotel services, local attractions, dining, and entertainment.Make reservations, secure tickets, and arrange transportation and travel details.Handle VIP requests, including special product orders and turndown services.Arrange for laundry, cleaning, and repair services for guests' belongings.Assist with administrative tasks, including authorizing credit applications.Facilitate the sending and receiving of guest packages.Act as host for morning coffee service and create warm guest interactions.Report suspicious behavior to hotel security to maintain a safe environment.Consistently greet guests in a professional, friendly manner to elevate their experience.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Front Office team.Other duties as assigned.KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESSStrong guest service orientation with a welcoming and professional demeanor.Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform routine tasks consistently.Reliable problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.Physical capability to assist guests by lifting and carrying belongings.Discretion and attentiveness when handling sensitive guest needs or information.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEPrevious guest service or hospitality experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to provide personalized and efficient service.ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision (HSA available)Company-paid disability & life insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramSupplemental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee discountsPaid vacation & sick timePosition Requirements - Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.Category - Front Office / Front DeskLocation - Marriott Del Mar 211Full-Time/Part-Time - Full-TimeCA Pay Range - $19.00 hourlyNumber of Openings - 1Req Number - FRO- EOE Statement - HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
