Job description
LPC Aide Position
Our school district is seeking an LPC Aide to perform clerical duties at our Sewell School. Employment is for four (4) hours per day, Monday through Friday, at a rate of $15.92 per hour.
Qualifications
The LPC Aide shall:
Have knowledge of basic computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Google software, and general clerical abilities
Have the ability to follow written and oral instructions
Have the ability to work with a variety of people
Have the ability to establish and maintain accurate records and files
Have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position. American Sign Language or Braille may also be considered as acceptable forms of communication
Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community, including difficult and emotional situations
Provide proof of U. S. citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
Provide evidence that a criminal record history check has been conducted and clearance has been given by the Department of Education
Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill the job functions and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.1 et seq.
Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

Employment Terms
The LPC Aide shall be employed under the following terms:
Work year of ten months
Salary, leave time and conditions as determined by the Board of Education
Conditions established by laws and codes of the State, and policies established by the Board of Education (N.J.S.A. 18A:27-4 et seq.)
