Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty NursingMaxim Healthcare Services

Provide Personalized Care Where It Matters MostMaxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a patient in their home in the Scranton, PA area. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to deliver individualized care in a comfortable home setting while building strong relationships with your patient and their family.

ResponsibilitiesProvide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's orders and plan of care

Monitor and assess patient health status

Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

Measure and document vital signs and patient progress

Observe and report changes in patient condition to the clinical team

Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

Educate patients and family members regarding care and health management

Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained

Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to provide quality care

QualificationsCurrent and unrestricted Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Current CPR certification

Strong clinical and assessment skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently in a home care environment

Previous private duty, home health, or pediatric nursing experience preferred, but not required

Ability to meet all Maxim Healthcare onboarding and compliance requirements
