Job description
Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Through our 12-nursing home, 10 assisted living, and 8 independent living communities encompassing nearly 2,000 beds, we provide exceptional health care services, including; long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patient needs, administer medications, perform treatments, and provide support to residents and their families.Qualifications:- Must hold a current and unrestricted LPN license issued by the state nursing board- Valid CPR certification- Proven experience as an LPN in various clinical settings- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and protocols- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care- Ability to adapt quickly to different work environments and provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plusEssential Job Functions:- Assess resident health by interviewing residents and obtaining medical histories- Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments according to established protocols- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) systems- Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethical practices- Stay informed about current nursing practices and regulationsThe position offers a competitive wage based on experience, and many other benefits including:Health insurance with company paid life insuranceDental, Vision and Voluntary benefits401k with company matchTuition reimbursementOpportunity for professional growth and developmentPaid time offHoliday payCome join a team with many years of employment longevity and a chance to grow your career from within.
