Job description
Job Title1. Communicates professionally and courteously with all patients/customers and members of the work team while completing tasks in an effective, efficient manner to promote the highest quality of customer service, patient safety and support the facilitation of patient care.2. Utilizes the nursing process, for the performance of patient care, to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to achieve prioritized patient outcomes according to the LPN scope of practice.3. Collaborates with health care providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.4. Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance with LPN scope of practice.5. Performs and maintains documentation.6. Communicates effectively.7. Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.8. Follows established departmental and SMC policies and procedures, objectives, quality control and performance improvement programs, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.9. Maintains current knowledge and training on equipment and procedures.10.
