You will assess, monitor, and deliver treatments while guiding and supervising nursing assistants. Key responsibilities include:Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Conducting medical assessments, monitoring vital signs, and responding to changes in condition.Supervising and guiding nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with standards of care.Assisting with elder admissions, discharges, and transfers.Documenting care in electronic health records (Point Click Care) and maintaining accurate clinical records.Communicating with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure elders' needs are met.Participating in the development and implementation of care plans that address elders' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.Educating elders and their families about medications, treatment plans, and wellness practices.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.LPN: Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse license.RN: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license.Current CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred).Strong communication and critical thinking skills.Willingness to care for older adults and commitment to the organization's mission.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.Proficiency in Point Click Care and Microsoft Office software.Physical and Environmental Requirements:Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stretching for up to 75% of an 8 or 12-hour shift.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.Exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and sharp instruments.Ability to push and pull medication carts weighing up to 300 lbs.Work in a variety of environments (clean, cluttered, organized, unsanitary, etc.).Supervisory Responsibilities:Supervise and guide CNA's, including scheduling, training, and monitoring performance.ADA Compliance:We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to ensure equal opportunity and access for all applicants.
