Grow, learn, and thrive as an LPN or Medical Assistant in Gastroenterology.
Position Purpose:
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Medical Assistants (MA) assist in providing excellent patient care by assisting physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office settings. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician.
Hours/Shift:
Full Time/Days M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm

Qualifications
LPN Candidates Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent
Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
MA Candidates High School or Equivalent
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
Must meet one of the following three criteria:
Has attended an accredited Medical Assistant training program by one of the following:
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
If your Medical Assistant training program was not approved by one of the above agencies, you will need to have a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following. If needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification.
National Healthcareer Association: CCMA
American Medical Technologist: RMA
American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
American Medical Certification Association: CMAC
Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
Work Requirements:
Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day. Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
