LPTA | Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant - Acute Care DaysPine Level, NC $48,007 - $60,009 a yearFull TimeSummary:Join a dedicated team providing exceptional physical therapy services across a regional healthcare network in the Southeastern United States. This role involves treating patients referred for physical therapy in an acute care setting, contributing to quality patient care and supporting departmental and organizational values.Responsibilities:Effectively apply clinical knowledge and skills to patient care. Collaborate within a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Communicate clearly and assess patient status through multiple sensory modalities. Safely transfer and transport patients of varying body weights and conditions. Utilize proper body mechanics and demonstrate proficiency with therapeutic equipment. Participate in mandatory training including evacuation procedures, restraints, seclusions, and safety devices.Education and Licensure:Must hold a current Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) credential from the appropriate state board.Experience and Requirements:CPR certification is required. FIM credentialing must be obtained within the first 45 days of employment, with a minimum proficiency score of 80%. Employees are given three attempts to pass the credentialing test. Physical demands include frequent standing, bending, stooping, lifting, turning, twisting, sitting, and walking.
