Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/GNA) Travel Contract - Long-Term Care Float Pool in Baltimore, MD

CNA/GNA Travel Job Details
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Assignment Type: Travel CNA/GNA contract
Start Date: October 19, 2026
End Date: January 25, 2027
Duration: Approximately 14 weeks
Weekly Estimated Pay: $760-$820
Hours per Week: 36
Shifts per Week: 3
Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
Primary Schedule: Day shifts, generally 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; assignments may also include evening or night shifts based on unit needs
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Orientation: 24 hours, scheduled across multiple units during weekday day shifts
Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
Float Expectations: Float within scope across long-term care, skilled nursing, medical-surgical/telemetry, behavioral health, rehabilitation, stepdown/PCU, intensive care, and LTAC settings as needed
Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements At least 2 years of CNA/GNA experience is required
Active Maryland GNA certification is required at the time of submission
Active CNA/GNA certification
Current AHA BLS certification
Experience documenting in PointClickCare
Ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients in long-term care, skilled nursing, and related clinical settings
Ability to float between like units and adapt to assignments based on patient acuity, staffing, and unit needs
Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and patient-care skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Willingness to work every other weekend and every other designated holiday
CNA/GNA Responsibilities Provide compassionate, hands-on care to adult and geriatric patients according to established care plans and within CNA/GNA scope of practice
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, perineal care, mouth care, toileting, feeding, and incontinence care
Measure and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, oxygen saturation, and other assigned clinical observations
Assist with ambulation, safe transfers, repositioning, passive range of motion, and use of mobility equipment such as Hoyer lifts, transfer belts, wheelchairs, and sliding boards
Support pressure-injury prevention, skin care, turning schedules, specialty-bed use, and other safety measures
Provide catheter care, specimen collection, drain-output measurement, and other delegated patient-care activities
Follow isolation precautions, PPE procedures, fall-prevention practices, and safe patient-handling techniques
Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the appropriate licensed team member
Document care accurately and promptly in PointClickCare
Float across assigned units and adjust to changing patient-care needs while maintaining high standards of safety, dignity, and professionalism
