Lube Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join Paul Thigpen Automotive Group as a Lube Technician, where you’ll receive hands-on training, manufacturer support, and a clear career path toward becoming a Certified Automotive Technician. What You’ll Do
Perform basic maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
Inspect vehicles for wear and damage and communicate findings to service advisors or senior technicians
Check and adjust tire pressure and refill fluid levels as needed
Install new oil filters and drain plugs
Lubricate fittings and perform general vehicle upkeep
Complete thorough vehicle inspections following dealership and manufacturer guidelines
Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career in the automotive industry
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Basic mechanical aptitude and computer literacy
Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and eagerness to learn
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
