Job description
Supervisory Student ObserverSupervises and observes students with minimal instruction in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures by performing the following duties. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervises the conduct of students while on recess or during lunch periods. Observes conduct and behavior of students to prevent disturbances. Assists in suppressing and controlling problems that might occur. Reports observations to superior.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED, Associate's degree preferred.Working Environment: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands; the employee is frequently required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
