The LVN ensures that patients' needs are met efficiently during weekend shifts, contributing to continuous and consistent care. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during the designated hours. Ultimately, the LVN supports the healthcare team in promoting patient well-being and safety while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with healthcare policies and infection control standards.

Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the supervising nurse or physician in a timely manner.

Skills:

The LVN utilizes clinical nursing skills daily to assess patient conditions, administer medications, and provide treatments safely and effectively. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with healthcare team members and educating patients and their families about care plans. Time management and organizational skills help the LVN prioritize tasks during busy weekend shifts to ensure all patients receive timely attention.
