Medical Assistant OpportunityStar Nursing has an urgent need for medical assistants. Facility: Clinic/Medical Office. Start date: ASAP! Length: Full-time assignment for 3 months with potential to extend. Schedule: 32–40 hours per week. Shift: Mon-Fri; start time will vary from 6a-9a (8hr shift).MA Pay rate: Local: $28/hr.Responsibilities:Provide back-office patient care support in the Dermatology DepartmentAssist with patient intake, rooming, vital signs, and preparing patients for proceduresSupport providers during dermatology visits and treatmentsPerform specimen collection and properly handle samplesHelp maintain smooth clinic flow in an ambulatory/outpatient settingDocument patient information accurately and follow clinic protocolsWork closely with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality patient careMA Certification requiredAmbulatory and specimen collection experience preferredQualifications:Active CA MA licenseMedical Assistant Certificate from one of the following: AAMA, NCCT, NHA (CCMA), AMT (RMA)IV CertificationCurrent - BLS/CPRSkills checklistCopy or driver’s license and SS cardMust be able to pass background/ urine drug screenBenefits:Dedicated recruitment team to assist throughout your placementWeekly pay and flexible scheduling optionsAccess to a network of healthcare facilities nationwideHotel discounts and referral programsContinuing education resourcesHealthcues membership for additional wellness support (this does not replace existing medical plans)
