For more information about our company, please visit pharmacann.com.Job DescriptionWe are seeking Processing Technicians who will be responsible for safely and effectively filling, packaging and labeling our cannabis products.Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)Cross-trains on and working alongside with the Processing team with the weighing, and packaging of PharmaCann's broad cannabis product lineCleans any/all production areas to ensure no cross contamination occursFollows the SOP's in regard to documenting your daily work on daily recap sheetFollows appropriate control measures to prevent mixing of cannabis strains and batches, and/or weights of batchesAspires to learn the components of the plantPerforming his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industryCarrying out all weighing and packaging operations in an efficient manner that also complies with all GMP's, OSHA regulations, PharmaCann SOP's and all applicable required proceduresEnsuring 100% compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement proceduresPerforming in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conducting visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceed PharmaCann's specifications and patients' expectations. Such quality assurance work and reporting shall include but not be limited to:Recording and monitoring process conditions to ensure compliance to standard operating proceduresProper weighing, data recording, and batch tracking throughout PharmaCann's processContinually strive and work with the remainder of the Production Team to improve PharmaCann's processes for improved patient safety, quality, and efficient manufacturingAssist in monitoring processing supplies and inventoryTrain and pass test on Food safety certificationAssists in the Formulation area with the filling and capping of all formulated products.Assist with food productionPerforms other duties as assignedProvide coverage in the warehousing and cultivation departments, as business needs requireProjects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and communityEmbodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectivesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D minimumState law requires that applicants be 21 years old to work for cultivation centerOne (1) to three(3) years of manufacturing and packaging experience with a focus on ensuring product safety, consumer safety and satisfaction, and high product qualityAttention to detailEffective communication skillsStrong work ethicWillingness to learn and improve each operationAbility to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time (i.e., trimming plants, weighing product, and regular inventory)Working ConditionsRequires weekend/holidays altering rotationRequires overtime according to business needsMust remove all jewelry, including rings, brooches, watches, pins, earrings, necklaces and visible piercings.
