Job description
Experienced Envelope Machine AdjusterCenveo is hiring immediately for Experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters in the Chicago, IL location for 2nd & 3rd shifts. Experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters will demonstrate mastery of envelope machine setup, troubleshooting, changeovers, and the ability to fully operate multiple machine types. Maintain production capacity, achieve output per shift, maintain peak performance, and consistently meet established safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Requires prior envelope manufacturing experience and advanced mechanical and problem-solving abilities.Pay & Schedule$24/hr or higher depending on experience + shift premium (2nd & 3rd shifts)2nd shift premium $1/hr: 2pm - 10pm3rd shift premium $2/hr: 10pm - 6amTraining will take place on 1st shift 6am - 2pmMonday-Fridays with Saturdays as neededShift availability is subject to changeWhat You'll DoSet up, align, and adjust envelope machinesPerform changeovers, size adjustments, and mechanical repairsMaintain machine speed, accuracy, and uptimeInspect product quality and minimize wastePerform routine cleaning, lubrication, and part replacementInstall paper, glue systems, tooling, other requirements safelyWhat You Need5+ years envelope machine adjusting experienceAdvanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of cutting, folding, gluing systems and envelope tolerancesDetail oriented, safety focused, and reliablePhysical RequirementsStanding, bending, climbing, lifting up to 55 lbsExposure to noise, machinery, inks, solvents, glueAbility to work in hot/cold conditions and stay alert around equipmentCENVEO IS AN EEO EMPLOYER INDCVOP
