Machine AssistantA local container manufacturing plant is seeking a reliable Machine Assistant for its 3rd shift team. This position plays a key role in supporting production operations by assisting with machine setup, monitoring product quality, performing basic maintenance, and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Machine Assistant ResponsibilitiesAssist with machine setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipmentMonitor product quality to ensure compliance with specifications and company standardsPerform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting using hand toolsAccurately enter production, downtime, and maintenance data into computer systemsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues and maintain production flowFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentSupport production goals while maintaining quality standardsQualifications2-3 years of stable manufacturing or industrial work experience preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team settingConsistent and dependable attendance recordAbility to read a tape measure and perform basic manufacturing mathBasic computer skills for production documentation and reportingMechanical aptitude and experience using hand toolsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive motions throughout the shiftFrequent standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and other physical activitiesAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that can be hot and humid during summer and fall monthsAbility to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodationSchedule Requirements3rd Shift positionMust be flexible to work in a 3-shift manufacturing environment when neededAbility to work overtime before or after scheduled shifts, up to 12-hour workdaysOccasional weekend work may be requiredIf you're looking for an opportunity to grow with a stable manufacturing company and enjoy hands-on work in a team-oriented environment, apply today!Full Time Evaluation Hire PositionSun - Thurs 11:00 pm - 7:00 am$17 - $18 DOE / hourCall Today to schedule an interview Send Resume to online at
