Machine Builder – Automation Assembly EquipmentLocation: Dayton, OH Job Type: Contract / Temporary Project AssignmentPosition OverviewSeeking an experienced Machine Builder to support a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing assembly line project in Dayton, Ohio. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in industrial automation, mechanical assembly, and machine building who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble automated machinery, production equipment, and manufacturing systems from engineering drawings and specificationsRead and interpret mechanical assembly prints, layouts, and manufacturing drawingsInstall, align, and fit machine components to required tolerancesSupport machine build, integration, testing, and installation activitiesOperate and utilize machine shop equipment, including milling machines and lathes, as requiredTroubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with modifications during the build processWork closely with engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams to meet project milestones and deadlinesMaintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company safety standardsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of machine building, industrial automation, or mechanical assembly experienceStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and mechanical schematicsExperience with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine shop equipmentHands-on experience operating milling machines, lathes, or similar machining equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSpanish language skills are a plusMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesProject DetailsTemporary contract assignmentTier 1 automotive manufacturing projectDayton, OhioCompetitive compensation based on experienceTravel accommodations for qualified non-local candidates may be providedPotential for project extension based on performance and business needs
